PADI Scuba Diver is the first diving level
The PADI Scuba Diver is the first certification in the PADI organization. This is a diving level recognized worldwide, and allows you to dive up to 12 meters deep and accompanied by a divemaster. The PADI Scuba Diver certification is usually, but not only, reserved only for children. This level was created to allow even inexperienced beginners to get a certification.

More than 80% of dives are done less than 12 meters deep
This certification allows to discover the underwater up to 12 meters deep. Contrary to the PADI Open Water Diver, Scuba Diver is not autonomous. He should always be accompanied by a dive leader.

To become PADI Open Water, you just have to simply complete the theory knowledge section 4 & 5, complete your confined water modules 4 & 5, and complete your open water dive 3 & 4. These required sections can be done in one or two days.

The natural colors are absorbed by water. Past 12 meters, you lose the red and orange colors. This is why generally, all divers like finish their dives in 6 meters : to enjoy colorful wonders.
