Start to teach, become a PADI Assistant Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor program is the first part of the PADI Instructor Development Course. This training extends your PADI Divemaster prerogatives, give you the opportunity to teach more and prepare you to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Extend your duties, increase your experience
Enrolling in this course, you will gain more diving experience, but you will also learn all PADI educational system. You will learn how to conduct a workshop for the first PADI programs, develop your theoretical knowledges and PADI standards, and improve your rescue skills. You can teach more things compared to a PADI Divemaster. Here is a small preview on your new opportunities :
You have the opportunity to do more as a PADI Assistant Instructor
Conduct theory sections for any PADI courses
Demonstrate skills in confined water
Assess surface skills
Teach and certify students for some PADI Specialities : AWARE – Coral Reef Conservation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project Aware and Digital Underwater Photography
Conduct the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program in confined water
Lead kids diving program such as PADI Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team AquaMissions
Achieve your rating, go for the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor is the first module of the PADI Instructor Development Course program. You have already done the hard part. You have to complete the second module PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor to become a diving instructor. You will be able to teach PADI courses entirely.
